A one day training course in CiviCRM 4.6 held in Canberra

This one day training course in CiviCRM 4.6 is suitable for administrators, managers, marketing and communications, and finance staff who need to manage or find data in CiviCRM. Please register early, as these courses usually book out and we don't know when the next course will run!

Topics covered include:

  • Contacts (individuals, organisations, households)
  • Relationships
  • Groups and Tags
  • Search
  • Mailings (email newsletters, bulk mailings)
  • SMS (individual SMS messages, bulk SMS)
  • Activities (individual emails, phone calls, meetings, printing PDF letters, custom activities)
  • Contributions / Financial Transactions (event fees and tickets, donations, membership fees)
  • Events
  • Memberships
  • Campaigns (on line surveys and petitions)
  • Reports (data visualisations, table reports, customised reports)

The course is suitable for new CiviCRM users with no prior CRM experience, as well as users who want a refresher in particular aspects of CiviCRM.

Training will be conducted in Agileware's training CiviCRM based on a fictional sports organisation, which means you can test out CiviCRM functions without affecting your live data.

Things provided on the day:

  • Computer with internet access
  • Printed copy of the Agileware CiviCRM Exercises book - a useful resource with step-by-step instructions for everyday tasks in CiviCRM

Parking:

There is all day paid parking at the back of the National Library, and at Questacon across the road (closer to the lake). The map below shows the all day and half day parking areas closest to the venue:

Catering:

Coffee is available from the Bookplate cafe on the ground floor at the National Library.

There is a kitchenette outside the training room for refilling water bottles, and a fridge for storing packed lunches.

For people looking for somewhere to buy lunch, the nearest cafes are Bookplate on the ground floor, the Questacon cafe, or the cafe in the ground floor of the Treasury building across the road.
